Rapapawn is an experimental animation studio runned by Óscar Raña and Cynthia Alfonso since 2017, who get a psychedelic liturgy that is linked frame by frame thanks using surrealistic imagery, frenetic cuts, use of color and abstract and geometric forms.
As Rapapawn, they worked for artists like Holy Fuck, Dan Deacon or Cola, and for companies like WeTransfer, The New York Times, MOOG, Bandcamp or Givenchy. Their exhibition project could be seen in Mountain Analogue (Seattle), in DEMO-It’s nice that (Amsterdam), Narcohumanisme (Bòlit, Girona) or in other cities such as Madrid, Paris or Vigo.

He has self-edited various fanzines, Tensión añadida, Hupink, HE-HE (with Cynthia Alfonso) and Ojos de nada. He participated in anthologies such as Hoohoo Voodoo of Fosfatina, Supertowers by Vincent Fritz or Anomaly#25, for the publisher of the same name, also he published Uno, dos; uno, dos and MANGY MUTT (his first long comic 2029), both for the publisher Fosfatina.
He has participated in various exhibitions, namely; Feliz en tu día (Halcón Milenario, Vigo, 2026), Wunderkinder (Swinton & Grant, Madrid, 2017), Squeeze-Oh, Viñetas dende o Atlántico, A Coruña (2018), Xa foi (mais é) (his first solo show in the Alterarte room, 2019). Also, he is part of the music bnads Tulip, Dois and Seda.

She collaborated in different magazines, such as Island#13 of Image comics, Real life of Snap Ink, Don’t Panic, Mold magazine, Gossamer, Ventoline, Mondo Zero, Kiblind, Standart or Actual source. She also participated in anthologies such as Hoodoo Voodoo from Fosfatina, Super Towers by Vincent Fritz, NOW#4 and 12 from Fantagraphics or ColdCube004 from ColdCube Press.
She has worked for companies like Apple, The New York Times, Snapchat, Spotify or Vinyl me, please! doing the art for the vinyl of Room on fire the The strokes. He also worked with music bands like Holy Fuck, Holy Hive or Morabeza Tabacco, among others.
Account with several collective exhibitions such as The last match by kuš! Kómics, Plait at Fanzines festival Paris, The Art test in Los Angeles or Squeeze-Oh in Viñetas dende o Atlántico. Also, several solo exhibiton; Behind is late and The one who weeps in Seattle. These last two titles are from his two long comics published by Coldcube press in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
