Cola is the new project of Ought’s Tim Darcy and Ben Stidworthy, formed with US Girls drummer Evan Cartwright. We introduced them with their single “Blank Curtain”; now they have announced the release of the debut album called Deep In View which will be out on May 20th via Fire Talk Records. “Degree” is the new excerpt.

“The character in ‘Degree’ is cycling in and out of these dreamscape states (movie theater, meditation, etc) and then trying to catch up to something in their day to day life,” says Darcy. “I picture what it feels like running to catch the bus when you’re in a daze and suddenly have to sprint.”
